Tax Benefits for Donors
Bambini nel Deserto is a charitable organization with a permanent base in Switzerland and is tax-exempt.
We are preparing to apply for the Zewo quality mark, but it can only be granted after the first two years of activity.
In terms of deduction, donations made to Bambini nel Deserto can be considered for both the cantonal tax and the federal tax, based on the time of payment.

The deductibility of donations at the cantonal level varies from canton to canton. In many cantons, the minimum and maximum amounts are similar to those for federal tax.

Federal Tax Deductibility
For federal taxes, there is a minimum and maximum amount.
On the one hand, donations totaling at least 100 Swiss francs in a fiscal year can be claimed.
On the other hand, deductibility is limited to donations up to 20% of net income.
Legal entities can also benefit from a deduction, limited to 20% of net profit.
